A common misconception about so-called "hipsters" is that they are a modern phenomenon. A little known fact, hipsters emerged during the early Cambrian period around 500 million years ago and they've been listening to bands you've never heard of and spending hours making themselves look like they just got out of bed ever since. The goal of this blog is to chronicle major events in history in which hipsters have appeared and left their mark.
